Joan Ruiz

 

Joan Ruiz is the creator and creative director of Esmorzaret, an outreach project dedicated to showcasing the value of the Valencian almuerzo, traditional recipes, local produce and culinary heritage.

He is the author of Esmorzaret Valencià, a cookbook centred around this gastronomic culture, and the founder of Esmorzaret House, a space dedicated to learning, cooking, sharing and connecting with Valencian gastronomy through its territory, its people and its memory.
