The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the recognition of Dénia as one of UNESCO’s Creative Cities of Gastronomy, a title that not only honours its culinary richness, but also marked the beginning of a decade of transformation, innovation and leadership. Since then, this recognition has driven our city’s economic, cultural and social development, making it an international benchmark. Our gastronomy, our valuable culinary heritage and our rich food system have been the backbone of a sustainable growth model, generating opportunities for producers, restaurateurs and entrepreneurs. In addition, this UNESCO designation has positioned Dénia as a gastronomic destination of excellence.
