José Manuel López has developed much of his professional career in the Marina Alta, a territory to which he has closely linked his approach to cooking.

For more than fifteen years, he led Peix i Brases, where he earned one Michelin Star and two Repsol Suns, with a cuisine based on local produce, respect for tradition and a contemporary perspective.

In 2026, he begins a new chapter with Ca Seko, his most personal project, alongside Zoryana Hlovak. At this restaurant, he continues to explore Mediterranean cuisine centred on produce, with the sea, the local countryside and tradition at its heart.
